What is SmartSync?
SmartSync is a free extension that provides an easy way to synchronize your Thunderbird Contacts with PocketPC (Windows Mobile) devices.
It can be installed as any other Thunderbird extension and, once it is installed, will add a new entry in the menù "Tools". With this entry, you'll be able to synchronize Contacts between Thunderbird and your PocketPC.
This piece of software is still under heavy development. It has a number of limitations and, probably, problems. Before using it, make a backup of your Contacts on both PocketPC and Thunderbird.
It is also suggested to use an ad-hoc created Address Book. It will help recovering from problems.

Microsoft Windows 2000 or better
Microsoft ActiveSync properly installed
Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 properly installed
Mozilla Thunderbird properly installed
